Speaking Calendar

Speaker’s Bio

Sean Dague has been an avid Linux and open source user for a decade.  He managed to sneak Linux into the infrastructure for the Sydney 2000 olympic games, and joined IBM’s Linux Technology Center shortly after it’s creation in 2001.  He’s worked on numerous open source projects from the LTC, including SystemImager, OpenHPI, Xen, OpenSim, and the NFS Ganesha project.  He created the Mid Hudson Linux Users Group in 2003, and has been running a monthly Linux and Open Source lecture series there ever since.  In his spare time he does a bit of hacking and publishing open source software in the Ruby, web, and now Android communities.

Upcoming Talks

I quite enjoy giving public lectures.  I typically give 1 or 2 lectures at MHVLUG meetings each year and submit talk proposals to a number of regional technical forums.  Below is a list of upcoming events where I’ll be speaking, and the topics I’ll be speaking on.  I’ve also got a public google calendar that lists these events.
